The Ugly Duckling Philosophy
Many of us can relate to the story of the ugly duckling. We have been made fun of, we feel depressed, we feel misunderstood, and sometimes we have even suffered abuse that leaves us with decreased self confidence and low self esteem.
As a Professional Counselor, I believe that we can relate to the personal transformation that eventually occurs within the ugly duckling and its development into a beautiful swan.
Counseling can be a similar journey from discontent to fulfillment.
